Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized therapy completed by a rehab professional (OT/PT) with extensive training in the pelvic floor, core anatomy & physiology. Pelvic floor therapy involves muscle strengthening, relaxation, and coordination to help treat pelvic floor muscle tightness or weakness & associated problems that result.
Pelvic floor therapy is a minimally invasive treatment option used for treating various types of pelvic floor dysfunction including, but not limited to:
· Diastasis recti
· Dyspareunia
· Fecal incontinence
· General weakening of pelvic floor muscles
· Improve muscular imbalances during pregnancy or postpartum
· Interstitial cystitis
· Other pelvic regional pain or discomfort
· Overactive bladder

· Stress incontinence
· Symptoms resulting from endometriosis or fibromyalgia
