Kaiut Yoga Class
w/ Jen
Tuesdays 5:30pm
$25 Drop-In
Kaiut Yoga is a therapeutic, biomechanical style of yoga aimed at balancing the nervous system, improving joint health, restoring lost connections, and building resilience and adaptability throughout the system. It is accessible to everybody regardless of age, ability, size, or gender. It doesn’t matter whether you are super rigid or hyperflexible. It is adaptable to any situation or condition. It isn’t without some intensity, but it is never aggressive. The focus is on function and sustainability in the practice, rather than on the aesthetics of the poses or how deep people can get in them. It is about learning to ‘be’ instead of ‘do’. This is not Westernized fitness yoga. So come with an open mind, be curious, and get ready to explore and develop a deeper level of presence, connection, and awareness. $25 per class. $100 5-punch pass available. Meets Every Tuesday from 5:30pm-6:45pm 512 Tremont st. Ste. A
Wing Chun Kung Fu is a Chinese martial art focused on efficiency and close-range combat. Developed by a nun from the Shaolin Temple, the style is designed to assist a smaller person in defeating a stronger and larger opponent, making it perfect for self-defense. All forms and drills are performed while standing, making it suitable for various fitness levels due to its low-impact nature. By emphasizing proper stance and centerline theory, Wing Chun also corrects posture, reducing strain on the spine and joints. This class is offered by Blake Storey on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays 1:00-2:00pm at our Gym location, 512 Tremont St, Suite A, Chattanooga, TN.
