Functional Medicine

Meet Dr. Neil Kjos

Dr. Kjos has been practicing functional medicine for 15 plus years and has worked with many individuals in helping them achieve their health goals.

Functional medicine is more than an occupation for Dr. Kjos, it is a passion and a way of life.  He is excited to help patients improve their well-being and learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Dr. Kjos works continuously to stay abreast of new clinical research in the fields of nutrition, autoimmunity, and metabolic disorders.

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine is a personalized, science-based approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness—rather than just treating symptoms. By looking at how your genetics, environment, and lifestyle interact, functional medicine practitioners aim to restore balance and long-term health. This approach often uncovers hidden imbalances in areas like digestion, hormones, immune function, and metabolism that conventional care may overlook.
